Services

Relocating aircraft safely and efficiently across the globe—from lease transitions and new deliveries to aircraft last minute/responsive recoveries and end-of-service repositioning. We retrieve stranded or grounded aircraft safely and compliantly minimizing disruption and protecting asset value.

Aircraft Lease Transitions & Aircraft Recovery

We manage ferry flights, compliance, and documentation to help lessors deliver aircraft safely and on schedule.

  • We manage the return of aircraft in line with lease contract terms—overseeing regulatory checks. Working from the lessor’s instructions, we overlay our aviation expertise to ensure all actions meet the highest standards of operational safety and compliance.

  • When required, RFS can support scheduled maintenance, engine testing, or ground testing. We do not conduct major modifications, but if changes are made by third parties, we ensure they are flight-ready and compliant with OEM standards—ready for test flights or delivery.

  • We prepare all technical documentation, arrange ferry flights, and manage final inspections with MROs/vendors or as appropriate. Our experienced operations team ensures each delivery aligns with the receiving lessee’s jurisdictional requirements, coordinating closely with lessor staff to address issues before they become delays.

  • We support lessors during airline going through financial difficulties  and/or fleet reductions, repositioning aircraft until a new lessee is identified.

Demonstration and Functional Check Flights

We carry out test and demo flights to validate aircraft readiness, support transactions, and give stakeholders confidence in every mission.

  • Our demonstration flights show the aircraft’s full performance capability for customers, lessors, or stakeholders. We conduct comprehensive in-flight testing—engine efficiency, avionics, flight control responses, and handling—while capturing critical data for analysis and post-flight validation.

  • When an aircraft has undergone major maintenance, repairs, or modifications, FCFs confirm airworthiness before re-entry into service. We deploy certified crews and follow OEM procedures, ensuring test profiles meet all operational requirements and regulatory standards.

  • We assist our customers to obtain assurances before accepting delivery or finalizing a deal, as we organize bespoke demonstration flights. We ensure the aircraft’s features and handling characteristics are clearly showcased, helping lessors and buyers make informed, confident decisions.

3

Observation Flights

We operate customized observation flights for regulators, buyers, and operators—capturing real-time data and insights that support safer, smarter decisions.

  • Observation flights often accompany certification, post-modification testing or training assessments. RFS conducts these flights with data tracking systems and a flight crew trained to execute precise test profiles. This provides lessors, manufacturers, and other stakeholders with a reliable performance record to support their goals.

  • For buyers, insurers or lessors seeking real-time insights, observation flights provide a window into the aircraft’s in-flight behavior. RFS facilitates these missions in close coordination with customer needs — allowing in-flight assessments and data capture to inform critical investment or lease decisions.

Pre-Purchase Inspection & New Aircraft Delivery

We support aircraft purchases and deliveries with expert oversight, flight readiness, and regulatory alignment at every step.

  • We work with your preferred technical teams, MROs or CAMOs to facilitate detailed inspections ahead of purchase. From logbook reviews to structural assessments and testing, we ensure all parties are aligned and the aircraft is ready for operational evaluation.

5

End of Service Flights

We reposition retired aircraft with minimal downtime—supporting lease closure, resale, or dismantling with expert operational planning.

  • Aircraft nearing the end of their operational life require expert handling to ensure a smooth transition into storage, resale, or ops spec removal. RFS manages every aspect of the ferry process for aircraft removal—working closely with lessors to ensure the final flight is executed with precision, alignment with all parties, as well as all regulatory requirements are met.

  • We do not manage disassembly ourselves or directly provide long-term storage, we routinely manage ferry flights to global storage facilities on behalf of lessors. We coordinate flight permits, route planning, and crew logistics—ensuring aircraft are delivered in line with each facility’s requirements.

Preservation measures and post-flight storage protocols are handled in collaboration with the lessor or designated MRO partner, ensuring continued care after the final touchdown.

We manage ferry flights, compliance, and documentation to help customers  deliver aircraft safely and on schedule.
